Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Reports

As defined by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service, Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) is a non-pricing meal service option for schools and school districts in low-income areas. CEP allows the nation’s highest poverty schools and districts to serve breakfast and lunch at no cost to all enrolled students. Schools that adopt CEP are reimbursed using a formula based on the percentage of students categorically eligible for free meals based on their participation in other specific means-tested programs.

See below for the 2018-2023 Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Identified Student Percentage (ISP) Reports.

VDOE National School Lunch Program Free and Reduced Price Eligibility Reports

The VDOE-SCNP collects and reports free and reduced price eligibility data annually from local educational agencies (LEAs). These reports include the number and percentage of enrolled students eligible for free or reduced-price meals in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) at both the school division and individual school level. See below for reports from SY 2017-2018 to SY 2022-2023.
