Board of Education Guidance
Guidance documents are adopted by the Board of Education and VDOE to provide general information to agency staff, school personnel or the public on how to implement or interpret state law or agency regulations. Guidelines adopted by the Board of Education are not intended to be regulations or state policies displacing local decisions; instead, they are designed to provide technical assistance for school officials, administrators and teachers in formulating local policies and decisions.
Guidance documents are available on the Virginia Town Hall website.
