Information collected in the Educational Registry Application (ERA) is the official means of identifying staff and schools for:

  • The Virginia Educational Directory
  • Points-of-contact for numerous data collections and positions,
  • Official announcements from the Virginia Department of Education,
  • Mailings,
  • State and federal accountability reporting; and
  • School Quality Profiles and other public reporting.

All information contained in the Education Registry Application must be kept current throughout the school year.
