The workshops will focus on implementation of the Cybersecurity Fundamentals course and will provide instructional methodology and resources.  During the session, the CIC trainers, through a project-driven approach, will guide teachers through the opportunities, threats, responsibilities, and legal constraints associated with operating in cyberspace.  Teachers will receive free cybersecurity curricula that can be integrated into the classroom.

The cybersecurity workshops will be provided through the professional associations as a part of their pre-conference or conference activities.  The individual conference programs give the dates, times, and registration procedures.  Participation in the CTE summer professional training conferences is an allowable expenditure of federal Perkins funds as long as it is included in the approved local plan.
