SUBJECT: Virginia Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (VASCD) 2016 Annual Conference

The Virginia Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (VASCD) extends an invitation to superintendents, teachers, building and central office leaders, and teacher educators to attend the VASCD 2016 Annual Conference. The theme of this year's conference is Future-Ready Students. A preconference session, The Power of Project-Based Learning, will be held on November 30 and will feature keynoter Lee Crockett as well as practitioners from Virginia schools implementing a variety of project-based learning models. Mr. Crockett is the President of the Global Digital Citizen Foundation and author of Literacy is Not Enough.

Conference keynoters on December 1-2, 2016, include Ron Clark, Ted Dintersmith, John Hodge, and Jennie Magiera.  Fifty concurrent sessions will be presented by and for Virginia educators. In-person and online networking opportunities will be built into the agenda.
