Applications (Word) are due April 29 for the 2016 Art Teachers Summer Workshop
The Teachers as Artists and Artists as Teachers workshop will be held June 27-30 at Virginia Commonwealth University. This workshop is provided at no cost to selected public sector educators and includes campus residence housing, meals, workshop materials and supplies, instruction, registration, and parking. A Superintendent's memoranda will be posted with additional information.
Knowledge and skills that students acquire through instruction in the fine arts include the abilities to think critically, solve problems creatively, make informed judgments, work cooperatively within groups, appreciate different cultures, imagine and create.
